If you could rewrite the ending, would you? No, it couldn't be any better than it already was.

Make a list of facts you learned from the story. John had a six year old daughter named Lucy. She had a kidney disease. John worked in the travel industry. Travis was his brother and he was a cop. John was divorced. Lucy yearned for a mother. They all lived in Durham. Wanda was John's drug hook up and she had a daughter named Tonya.

What problems does one of the characters have, and how does he or she solve it? John needs to get a lot of cash so he can pay for Lucy's operation. He does a couple of drug runs.
