Have you always enjoyed writing?
Yes, love to write. It’s a passion.

What motivates you to write?
The characters and their story motivate me to write. I see them alive in my mind.

What writing are you most proud of?I’m proud of all of my writing.

What are you most proud of in your personal life?
I’m proud of my family. I adore my children and grandchildren.

What books did you love growing up?
I loved to read Nancy Drew when I was young.

What book genre of books do you adore?
I adore to read romance, romantic suspense, and paranormal romance.

Location and life experiences can really influence writing, tell us where you grew up and where you now live?
I was born and raised I San Jose, California. I currently live I Sacramento, California. My parents were from Mexico. Naturally I grew up with the Mexican traditions and customs.

How did you develop your writing?
I write and learn from my errors. This helped me to cultivate my writing style and voice.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
My inspirations come to me in my dreams. I start to write and the story spills out.

What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing?
The most difficult aspect in writing is marketing. It is time consuming and expensive.

What marketing works for you?
I believe that the marketing that works for me are the blog tours, press releases, and events.

Do you find it hard to share your work?
No, I love to share my work.

Is your family supportive? Do your friends support you?
Yes, my family is extremely supportive. I have friends that truly enjoy and support my writing.

Do you plan to publish more books?
Yes, I plan to continue to write and publish for another 25-30 years.

What else do you do to make money, other than write? It is rare today for writers to be full time
Well writers do not make enough money to survive. I do have a day job. I’ve been working for the same employer for 32 years.
